A table on the sand, where the sea meets the sky
As the sun slips behind the Lombok Strait and the last of the light turns the water gold, our team is already at work on the beach. Lanterns lit one by one along carved wooden stands, traditional Balinese parasols on either side, and the waves a few steps away.
Our beachfront faces west across open water toward Bali, which means sunset is not a backdrop here. It is the reason you came.
Your table is dressed in white linen with a hand-woven Lombok songket runner, fresh tropical flowers, and glassware polished for the occasion. There is no other table beside you, no queue, no timetable. Dinner is served course by course from the kitchen at Malaka Restaurant, and everything is prepared down to the last candle before you arrive.
For couples
Honeymoons, anniversaries, proposals, vow renewals. Tell us in advance if you are planning a surprise and we will handle the timing and the reveal. We are good at keeping secrets.
For families
A longer table on the same stretch of sand, with the same lanterns and the same service. Children are welcome, and the kitchen will adjust portions and dishes for younger guests.
For small groups
Birthdays, reunions, farewell dinners, or a private celebration at the close of a stay. Tell us the number and the occasion and we will build the setting around it.
